Dools, remember when Kentucky Fried Movie came out? I was in high school then, and it came outta left field. Probably would seem like lame frat boy stuff now, but it was hilarious back then.

Wow, another Diggstown fan. Don't think I've ever met anyone who knew what I was talking about when I mentioned this cool boxing/con artist movie with James Woods and Louis Gossett Jr., not to mention a great performance by Oliver Platt, long before he was The Boss.

I have thick fingers, right now.

  5. One of my favorite movies. Actually reminded of it reading your post. I've had my TiVo set to record it for months in case it ever comes on anywhere but to no avail. I guess I need to get it on DVD ...

I've heard Diggstown is an underrated gem, but haven't ever seen it. Sadly, I've never seen Shawshank Redemption, either. I think the title gave me the idea it was some sorta boring intellectual film at the time, and I still haven't caught up to it. I know the storyline now, though, so I need to watch it.

I cut it off at 10, but may I add:

    A League of Their Own
    Vacation

  12. Ooh, Dazed and Confused. Good one. I think that replaces Go in my Teenager Acting Irresponsibly movie slot - with Not Another Teen Movie a close third ...
