It's fitting that A Beautiful Mind is not among your top 13 films on a top 10 list. :D

Props for mentioning Run Lola Run. Great take on the randomness of fate and the impetuousness of youth.

I'd have to think about it to get a definite top 10, but the 10 that come to mind now:

    Revenge of the Nerds
    The Boondock Saints
    The Matrix
Superbad (I consider this Revenge of the Nerds for a new generation)
    Better off Dead
    Wild Style
    I'm Gonna Git You Sucka
    The Last Starfighter
Mallrats (I saw this one before I saw Clerks, which might be why I have it ranked higher)
    Superfly

    1. Reservoir Dogs - My most enjoyable moviegoing experience ever. I knew nothing about the film going in and was just blown away by it.

    2. Fight Club - This is my go-to movie. I've probably watched it more times than any other movie.

    3. Godfather I+II - Just so brilliant.

    4. Pulp Fiction - I really miss the days when I would see a movie in the theater and have the desire to round up everyone I knew who hadn't seen it and take them to see it... That was how I felt about Pulp Fiction.

    5. Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back - As a kid, nothing was better...

    6. Heathers - If Reservoir Dogs was my favorite moviegoing experience, this is a close second. I knew nothing about the movie, but a friend who knew I was a movie fan, said, "I just saw this psychotic movie that I think you'd love..."

    7. True Romance - Holy shit I love everything about this movie...

    8. Scarface - I know it's become cliche, but it's just such a fun and exciting movie...

    9. Fast Times at Ridgemont High - I snuck into see this as a kid. It holds up...

    10. South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut - It's nice when a movie lives up to gigantic expectations...

    Honorable mention:
    Top Secret!
    A Fish Called Wanda
    Se7en
    Usual Suspects
    Silence of the Lambs
    Goodfellas
    Raiders of the Lost Ark

Thanks, casty. I wish I could wedge "The Exorcist" in there somewhere.

    Casablanca
    Fight Club
    Miller's Crossing
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
    Airplane!
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

I think you have about three movies on that list which would have made mine if I'd thought of them earlier.

"A Fish Called Wanda," to me, was the same reaction as yours for "Reservoir Dogs."

Indeed, I saw Dre's list and am adding "Once" to the Notebook/Bridges combo.

Some great mentions so far. Glad to see the love for "Breaking Away," which is an underrated film.
