Can we started a category for favorite deleted threads? They were kind of like shooting stars. I remember one RAMBO started that was absolutely hilarious, unintentional of course, where he basically told all of us to fuck off. There was also the recent one where Boom posted Alley's "threatening" PM and told him he was going to the cops. Both lasted for about 5 minutes.

Boom started one for Dyepack and I to air our issues, but it got deleted before I could post what would have easily been a nominee for Post of the Year.

Boom's posting of the horse painting... I laughed a lot, more at the outrage from people.

Big Dog vs. JR regarding Canadian football

Sportschick defending FRAUD during the last winter Olympics

    The jersey thread

    The original Cold Pizza thread

The first 25 or so pages of the Boots thread, before it turned into more posts about how great the thread is.

One I haven't seen mentioned yet is the Interview with the Tennis Player's Mom.

Someone came on the board under their real name and asked for advice or guidance on a situation involving the mom of a high school tennis player, and the thread turned into a raunchy, sexual diary that would have made the editors of Penthouse Forum blush. Written in the style where one poster started a thought, advanced it a bit, and then left it hangin' for the next poster to come along and take over, giving it a bunch of rather hilarious twists and turns.

I'm kind of a two-trick pony. Certain threads, you just know I am going to post on and I am going to be like a dog with a bone... The funny thing is when I am "debating" with people, they think I am way more intense than I really am. This stuff is really interesting and fun for me, but it is never personal.

I also have a fun side, I think, and post some less serious stuff. I'm not sure what I bring to the table, though. Some people seem to appreciate me, some less so. That's all good.

seeing Ragu's sig --- How about A-F's survival kit of fruit rollups?

And how about Almost Famous' discussion of BLOGS years ago, and how he was universally ridiculed.... and how in 2007, every paper is falling all over themselves rushing out BLOGS?

Wasn't so much the prognostications as it was the glee with which they were put forth and the obvious contempt for the printed word that was offered.

What happened here the night of the Bartman game? I was not a member yet ... but I'm sure you asshats came up with something great that evening.

If Junkie wants to come to Toronto on Sept 19, I'll take him to Rush's "Snakes & Arrows" concert.

And he can come with me to see 'em in Chicago on Sept. 8. Only 15 rows back on Alex Lifeson's side of the stage.

Well, it was my thread. Started in August, titled 'I Can't Watch.' Talk about a living wake....much ancestral grief there. My pal the Armchair reminded us daily: 'Stay calm. All is well.' Idiot. :'(
