Also music related: I love Lennon's Beatles songs and some of his solo work, but "Imagine" is one of the worst songs in the classic rock cannon.

As Elvis Costello once sang, "Was it a millionaire, who said 'imagine no possessions'?"

Plus the song's melody is boring as hell.

 

That song was written by Karl Marx.

And, yes, it is boring.

 

Of the Beatles' solo careers I'll take George Harrison's by a mile. Lennon had a few really good songs but a lot of dreck and some overrated stuff (like "Imagine"). And I'm coming around on McCartney's solo career after a lifetime of mocking it. There's some good stuff there if you can overlook the schlock like "Silly Love Songs." And Ringo... eh.

By the way, only Elvis would write a song with a verse that insults, in order, John Lennon, Roger Waters, David Bowie and Madonna.

 

The movie Avatar is an unwatchable piece of shit.

If someone is standing still and not walking in the left lane of a down escalator, you should be allowed, encouraged to shove them down without warning.

All children are awful and annoying.
