I think we have ordered 12 boxes of Thin Mints so far, from neighbors/coworkers' kids. They freeze. It's great to have Thin Mints in June.

I really love NPR, but yeah, a lot of this rings true. I wouldn't go quite as far as your final paragraph; All Things Considered is still pretty informative. But there is a lot of the fluff you describe across their programming.

I listen mostly through Alexa now. It's nice to be able to skip some of the fluff with a simple prompt and move onto the next story.

I was unaware there are any AM NPR stations; I thought they were all low frequency FM stations.

Today's unpopular opinion: With the exception of the first episode, I didn't think "Band of Brothers" was very good.

Another thing about programming across the network is the same book, study, actor, or movie will be featured multiple times on all the news discussion shows.

    I just bought a fish sandwich from Arby's and it's ... dare I say ... good?

With Lent coming up, all the fast food joints will be bringing out their fish items.

Exclusively wearing black t-shirts around the house has ended my wife’s complaints that I eat like a slob.

I thought the last two episodes were the best.
