Well, puppies do have a use for the newspaper. They need them before they learn to take their leaks outside.

 

Zell's Trib "stewardship" might wind up appreciably worse than 9/11, when
you weigh respective body counts at the end of the day.

 

Heard a story about Zell from someone who worked with/against him in real estate game: Apparently he has a statue in his office of some big fat guy, wrapped up in red tape, and it's labeled "The Bureaucrat." In the base of the statue, there's a drawer and -- according to this guy -- Zell kept a dildo in that drawer. It was his vulgar way (sorry if that's redundant) of saying, "Screw the bureaucrats."

 

Pretty sure all of Tribune's advertisers have a little Zell doll in their draws with a dildo, too.
