Don't know if this is a "bit" to generate clicks - or Cuomo feels its perfectly fine to criticize a media property on his show that is on a network owned by same guy who owns the media property he criticized. Added bonus - Abrams has a show that follows Cuomos and he dunked on him.

Philip Bump's new book tackled this question. While white Boomers are more likely to be Trump voters, they are not as reliably Trump voters as the Silent Generation was in 2016.

65+ voters broke 52-45 for Trump in 2016 and 52-45 for Trump in 2020. Regardless of what it does in 2024, this isn't the gap many on here likely presume it is.

Trump gained 4 points among Blacks AND Hispanics from 2016 to 2020.

Biden had a huge lead (61-38) among voters who considered "rising COVID cases" to be the biggest issue. That's kinda off the table now.

My parents are strong libs that they watch way too much TV news and are convinced the world is going to heck in a handbasket. Still strong Dems, but I think as you age you naturally feel vulnerable. You want "safe" and you yearn for a time in the past that may not have existed, but you are open to returning to it anyway.
