Hi, all! Yardbarker is once again looking to expand our team of contributing writers.

We are actively seeking freelancers interested in writing about the following sports: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA, MLS, NWSL, Men's & Women's College Basketball, College Football

Prior experience helps but is not required. A passion for sports is necessary.

This is indeed a paid role. Like many outlets within the industry, we use a compensation system based primarily on the traffic your content drives but we do offer some flexibility on rates, seek to provide our writers with support and feedback, and have a team of editors who help review work before it publishes.

It might not equate to a PT/FT income for most but it's not designed to. No freelance role is.

There are contributors who have moved into a flat rate per post, once we get to know them and they know our system. That option certainly exists here.

You aren't going to find many freelancers making six figures at any outlet, Electric Boogaloo.

Five figures? Are these handsomely compensated folks actually "staff?" Per dictionary.com: a group of persons, as employees, charged with carrying out the work of an establishment or executing some undertaking.
