Here's the thing that's been gnawing at me: That's still a win to a lot of conservatives. If Trump being a belligerent asshole is what it takes for Europe to band together and pick up a significant (if not total) load, which the United States has carried for the last 80 years, in keeping Europe safe, then so be it.

That's not my view, but many of the small town Midwesterners I grew up with would absolutely see that as a major foreign policy success.

I'm counting on a huge, mounting backlash as forko and Elmo
wreck our economy and keep firing good workers by the thousands.

Really hoping to see this forked-up administration Klown Karnival blow apart in weeks, not months.

The truth is you can't cut US government employees without cutting a lot of veterans because veterans have statutory preference in US hiring. That was from when both parties liked them.

Every time this happens, they say it's all caused by democrats or hired outside agitators.

I'm sure there's some of that, but i'm guessing there is a lot genuine anger from the Leopards Won't Eat My Face crowd. But we won't know if it'll do anything to change their vote for another two years.

I saw the video, and those folks all sure looked like they'd never been further than 50 miles from Oakley in their lives. As is customary at such gatherings, most were older people.
