Hayward is a great SE to work for. He was in Midland for probably a decade before moving to the coast. Corpus probably has the nicest beaches in Texas too.

From what I've heard this gig is more like 80 percent desk and 20 percent writing. But the SE Joel Luna is a great guy.

I also saw that all of the sports staffers are "editors". Deputy, night, etc. Any which position this is?
