As for split brands, I think the one thing that should stay consistent is the three world champions should stay on their respective shows as far as wrestling goes and if they are going to appear on another show, it should be "special" and not necessarily to wrestle (this way they could use his appearance to hype a match on the regular show of the champion in question).

Special, huh? Ha! When was the last time the ECW Championship was defended? If there was ever a PPV where either the WWE Title or World Heavyweight Title wasn't defended, fans would be asking for a legitimate reason why. I can recall a couple instances where the WWE Title wasn't defended in the past, but this goes to show how unimportant the ECW Title really is to WWE.

I think the Hardy/Finley match in Europe from a couple of weeks ago was a title match. Matt won to keep the title.

Matt Hardy was never really the high-flyer. He usually left it to Jeff. He was more in the Marty Jannetty/Robert Gibson supporting tag-team partner role, where Michaels/Morton/Jeff would be more the emotional star of the team.

Also, there are a lot of wrestlers who, once they become established, they dial down their move sets. Part of that is to preserve their bodies (Foley used to say that he received more of a reaction from pulling a sock from his crotch than dropping elbows on concrete). Also, injuries play a factor. Guys aren't going to kill themselves night after night when they are hurt.

While Matt did a lot of spots, I have to agree with this assessment.

I was talking about the TV shows, not the PPVs. I think the champs from each show should stay on their show, not have Matt Hardy, for example, wrestle a Smackdown wrestler on Smackdown for the heck of it. That's what I mean by specializing the titles.

Anyone else old enough to remember the tradition of supershows on Thanksgiving and Christmas?

One of the absolutely dumbest ideas in a long list of dumb ideas that Vince has ever had.

I was actually referring to the old Starrcades, but I think I actually bought that pay-per-view in my younger days of folly.

Not gonna lie, I like this new identical twin duo on Smackdown.

EDIT: That Divas Championship belt looks like an absolute joke and something you'd probably find in the toy section at Wal-Mart.

Flipping channels this morning and saw that Spike was re-running Thursday's TNA Impact show. Rhino? Don't make me start laughing out loud AGAIN! When he met with Jarrett (Rhino vs. Angle is now on the next PPV where if Angle loses he's out of TNA and if Angle wins he gets Jarrett at the following PPV) all I got out of it was that Rhino's all but guaranteed to join the Main Event Mafia now.

Any idea on when Christian's contract expires with TNA? I haven't seen him on TNA television since the last PPV, and, as Meltzer was saying; that was probably Christian's last apperance in TNA.

From what I heard, Christian was supposed to have Rhino's leadership spot in the Frontline faction which makes sense. I'm wondering when the contract expires as well, but I know it's soon and I expect him to show up in WWE in a short time.
