Great PPV.

Few things: I'm sure Miz sold the injury well. I didn't buy he was hurt legit when he came off that ladder. He landed well and sold it very well.

Mark Henry - Show was an OK match but what made it work is they put Henry over clean over a big name. We'll see where they go after that.

Daniel Bryan winning was awesome. Crowd popped big for him.

Cena-Punk was hardly a 5-star match but damn it paid off well.

I'm quite glad to be wrong on Cena losing the belt and I'm really looking forward to Raw for the first time in a long time.

The whole Cena being fired thing loses some steam with the realization that he's already facing the Rock in Miami though.

Except that's not for another eight months or so. I don't think anyone, even the most ardent anti-Cena fan, would expect him to be gone that long. Nobody ever expects people fired in angles to stay gone forever. They just want it to be longer than Cena's last firing, which was measured in minutes.

I wonder when the last time a Raw was this anticipated for positive reasons (as in not Raw is Owen/Raw is Eddie/Raw is NAME REDACTED). Possibly the first post-Nexus show, but I think this tops that. Possibly the Raw when Batista made his decision on which world champion he'd face at Wrestlemania so many years ago? Most anticipated ever? That may not be far off the mark, actually.
I guess not knowing that he has a match already at Mania would make the firing storyline a little more satisfying for right now, though much like the storyline with the Nexus, Cena won't be gone long.

Hopefuly, more than he was then, but probably not.

Can't wait for Raw though. Under 3 1/2 hours to go here.

McMahon could address that tonight. Perhaps it'll lead to Rock interceding on Cena's behalf to keep the match alive.

Interesting. Rock could show up while Cena's gone and say "Hey look, I'm here and you're not" Thus building their twitter feud even more.

But that would mean Rocky would have to show up on breaks from shooting GI JOE

The first Bret appearance and the Nexus attack follow-up were the two big ones.

For a few months in '98, there was a lot of anticipation with the Austin/McMahon feud. They just kept topping themselves.

And if I remember right that it was on Smackdown, the first Rock/Hogan confrontation was incredible.

You mean when Rock interrupted/challenged Hogan to a match at WM18 and gave him the Rock Bottom? That was Raw (night after No Way Out). If you mean something else, I'll stand corrected.

Yeah, that. I thought it was on Smackdown. But I could (and probably am) wrong.

This could also lead to Vince firing the Nexus in retaliation, which would give them time to be repackaged down the road.

It's been a few weeks since Punk appeared with Nexus. They may have McGuillicutty and Otunga remain a tag team without the Nexus banner, in the manner of Gabriel and Slater for those couple of weeks post-Corre. Ryan's out for a few more weeks, so they may repackage him, attach him as a bodyguard for an upper-card heel like Del Rio or Ziggler.

Re: Andy from Tough Enough, one of my friend's has a husband who is a wrestler in FCW. Says he's really, really raw, so I wouldn't expect to see him up anytime soon.

Since the draft Alberto Del Rio's former bodyguard, Brodus Clay, has fallen off the map.
I thought at a minimum he had a unique look and could move for a big man.
