Yes, I am the author of this book and here to make a post of self-promotion. But if there are any avid North Carolina fans on this board or college basketball fans in general, I think you'll enjoy this insider's look at the Tar Heels' run to the 2009 national title. More details can be found at:

i'd rather read a book about matt doherty's 2003 squad or this year's team...implosions are much more interesting...

Things I will never read again in my life: (1) Any book on a team's championship season; (2) Any biography of a famous athlete or manager.

I'm just not interested any more.

After the Sox won in 04, I read a bunch of them.
Now I'll make it a point to only read one when someone good is writing it. I managed to fight through Johnny Damon's autobiography, which couldn't have been ghost-written, because it was a disaster.

Shouldn't a book like this come out sooner than a year after the fact?

You know after their shocking loss to Kansas in the 2008 Final Four, I've wondered if they could ever recover and if they did -- how? It seems like you are finally providing my answer. Bless you.

Your promo flyer is cool. It has a faux word document look to it. Cool background too. Is that the paneling in your basement?
