Bennett Durando switched to a different beat, perhaps? I don't know if the STL P-D has named a replacement for Jim Thomas or not but wouldn't surprise me if Durando landed back there.

I thought Bennett landing back there was a natural fit when Thomas retired. I think they hired someone from Dallas for that P-D job.

But anything is possible.
 
What is it with so many people "sharing when I can" the "exciting" new job that awaits them?

They cannot help themselves from saying SOMETHING. Good thing it's not CIA, I suppose.
