Car drives into Bourbon Street crowd, kills at least 10

Not going to "like" it hack - but I totally agree with the sentiment. This is horrible. I really hope it isn't related to the Germany thing from a week or so ago.
 
And this country votes for people who will ensure it keeps happening. I'm sure thoughts and prayers will abound.

This is the fastest a new year has reminded me that no things will not be getting better and it's a horror show all the way down. darn.
 
It is New Year's in Nola, so staggeringly irresponsible intoxication isn't off the table.

If it hasn't changed I think they close off Bourbon a block downriver from Canal, which explains why a car even got that close.
 
Of course they won't cancel or delay the Sugar Bowl, but you do wonder how much worse it would have to be for something more than a moment of silence before the game.

So… I've not seen anything written about anyone getting arrested or the alleged perpetrator being killed.

And if someone wants to kill a lot of people, they can.
