Cory Lidle's plane crashes in NYC

Re: Plane crash in NYC

It was ARod. Aimed for the Empire State Building, but missed.

Re: Small plane/helicopter crash in NYC

Not the same as the WTC, but I'm sure it brings back way too many memories for New Yorkers and others.

I hope and pray no one was seriously injured.

Re: Small plane/helicopter crash in NYC

Hi-rise building with nearly 200 apts on 72nd and York...three apts appear to be on fire on 25th or 26th floor of a 50-floor building

Re: Small plane/helicopter crash in NYC

Helicopter hit the 40th and 41st floors of a 50-story condo/apt building. The building at 524 72nd Street and York Ave. (near the East River) has been evacuated as has the high-rise next door at 520 72nd Street.
No reports yet of how many injured.

Hastert will do anything to get Foleygate off the news shows, eh?

I hope Bush put on his cape and is flying to New York already. Because on 9/11/01 the first reports were also that it was a small plane. Surely, remaining calm is not the answer. EVERYBODY PANIC!!!

I must've misread some of the other posts, because I'm either completely missing the point of the post or I totally overlooked whatever prompted it.
