Delta plane upside down in Toronto

Saw one guy's video as he was getting off the plane and could hear the flight attendant shouting for no videos. JFC how'd you like to be behind that guy while trying to get out of your upside-down jet?

"Follow me!"
"I'm trying, asshole, but you won't get out of the door of the burning forking airplane!"

Found this on reddit ... clear video of the landing.

Looks like the right rear landing gear collapsed, which dipped the right wing into the ground and sent it rolling, like @maumann said.
So that's the how. The why would be whether it was from a hard landing and pilot error, wind shear/crosswinds, or a mechanical failure.

I don't know what Toronto was experiencing but Pennsylvania had been getting gusts of 50 miles an hour or more for 24 hours when this happened.

I live 15 minutes north of Pearson and it was very gusty yesterday and in my experience as a walker the wind blows quite often from the northwest. That runway is on the north side of the airport.
