Job description

Location: Remote
Position type: Part-time. Potential for full-time employment for the right candidate.

About the company
Must Love MMA is the flagship company of Emmy Award-winning reporter Susan Cingari. Focusing exclusively on combat sports, particularly bare knuckle boxing and MMA, the company covers combat sports events and fighters with videos for online distribution.

Required skills and duties:

The role comprises social media management and managing as well as production experience.

SOCIAL MEDIA
— Instagram is the primary account so familiarity with the platform is strongly preferred
— Daily posting on Instagram (scheduled via Later) including sourcing appropriate images and news items to share
— General management and upkeep of all social media profiles (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook), including commenting and interacting with other users

Knowledge of copyright law (particularly fair use) is required for this role. Understanding of on-page SEO best practices strongly preferred. The candidate will be expected to source relevant information to post, as well as posts provided by the client. This is a great opportunity for a highly organized self-starter to work with a dynamic, independent media team in a new and growing sporting niche. Limited training will be provided for software, posting strategy and standards etc., however applicants are expected to be able to conduct their own research and work independently.
