Please allow me to interject my feelings about Mother Nature

After a dry March in our snowiest month historically, we're starting April here in the Rockies with some thunder-snow.

Fourth weekend in a row — I think; I'm honestly losing count — that's going to have rain, bad storms, or both. My grass is weeds are already a foot tall in some spots and it looks like it'll be almost mid-April before I finally have the first cut.

36 degrees now, with wind chill of 17. Forecast temperature of 63 at midnight tonight.

Next Tuesday my niece has her opening softball game. Forecast is 37 degrees and rain/sleet.

"Possible generational flood" hooray!

With meteorologists using words such as "generational," "historic," and "life-threatening," the forecast for heavy rain and flooding in the central U.S. over the next few days is looking dire.
"This isn't routine," the National Weather Service in Memphis said. "This is a rare, high-impact, and potentially devastating event. Heavy rainfall will likely lead to widespread river, flash, and areal flooding."
The heaviest rain is likely in a swath from Arkansas to Ohio, where many areas should see more than a foot of rain by the time the storm ends on Sunday.
