Explain this to me like I'm a second-grader

You guys are in for a huge disappointment. I've been telling you this for months now. You should really turn the page and begin thinking about who you want to appoint special prosecutor for President HRC's _______________ scandal.

So Hillary sent those emails to random people? That sounds kind of bad.

The concept that the emails weren't classified at the time, while Petraeus' information was, seems to escape a few people.

The concept that the people she sent them to were government employees whose job it is to work with the information, instead of a mistress, also seems to escape some people.

Experts see little chance of charges in Clinton email case

Maybe there's enough time for another Benghazi! investigation before the election?

When I read that piece, I thought the title was misleading. The piece quotes Bill Jeffrees regarding the mens rea of knowledge, then it quotes Nathan Sales regarding inferred knowledge. Then it addresses the gross negligence issue and it quotes Bill Moss, then it quotes Ronald Sievert. I didn't see much that said experts see little chance of charges. And to be fair, little chance of charges doesn't mean she isn't guilty.

That could be the evidence isn't strong enough, or the Justice Department doesn't want to prosecute the Democratic frontrunner. There IS enough evidence to conclude, an opinion only mind you, that she is a criminal. I mean it's not like someone is saying "Bernie Sanders is a criminal", which would be baseless, as there is no information that he is. While the information that Hillary IS may not be enough to support a guilty verdict in a court of law where the standard is beyond a reasonable doubt, there is enough information to support a logical conclusion that she is. And it's just as logical to conclude that she isn't, I'm not saying the evidence is conclusive.

You're probably right. Someone with your savvy and sensibilities would have a good feel for what Herself could get away with. From now on, when I'm pondering whether a high-profile Democrat might skate on something or another, I'll ask myself, "What would cranberry think?"

The concept that the emails weren't classified at the time ... seems to escape a few people.

The fact that we're only privy to those emails Herself deigned to turn over also seems to escape a few people.

You could save yourself a ton of aggravation if you didn't get all caught up in your wet dreams.

Hey! Look who's back!

So why hasn't the government found those emails that she erased? After all, if they can hack into an Apple phone, surely, they'd be able to recover her emails, right?

Oh, it would be even easier if I approached these things like you do. "Do I like this person politically? Yes. Well then he/she cannot ever have done anything wrong!"

Sorry, gotta cut and run ... your fastball's got too much heat on it for me.
