Hand cramps

This is a totally crazy topic because I have NEVER suffered from hand cramps from writing, typing or any other activity. But sonofabitch, they hit me today while driving home from a fairly light day. I had to pull off the road because they hit my left hand so hard and it took about 15 minutes to get over them.

Is this just a symptom of dehydration, a mineral deficiency or overuse? Or is it a harbinger of something worse like rheumatoid arthritis? That shiz is gnarly.

I have had it and it's no joke. I have a friend whose journo career ended because of carpal tunnel, well before the industry imploded. Get it looked at if you can.

If you even suspect rheumatoid arthritis could be in play, get the blood work done to check ASAP so you can stop the damage in the early stages. You don't want what happens if it goes untreated for years. Don't ask how I know.

Muscle cramps are most likely dehydration or lack of vitamins. Drink water, eat bananas, and take vitamin b complex.
