I liked it when JD played a country-music patriarch in the TV show "Nashville."

He shows up around 2:40 in this clip, which I always thought was a remarkable duet by a pair of actors -- Connie Britton and Charles Esten. I'm no country music fan, but this is on my permanent playlist.
