Land Man ... any thoughts?

We caught E09 last night, and plan to watch the season finale tonight.

I know Billy Bob's had some really fine roles ... but might this be his career best? The character just fits his vibe (or vice versa) so perfectly.

Somebody upthread criticized Ali Larter for being too old. Dammit, I guess I'm too old because she looks great to me (maybe it's the talents of the make-up artists).
But in her era, Ali Landry was hotter than Ali Larter.

SHE's too old? Billy Bob is 69. He'd need the key to the Cialis factory to keep up with the demands of a real-life Angela.

We finished the series. Entertaining, tho sometimes silly and over the top. And has been mentioned, the female characters are pretty one dimensional.

Also, a role that sort of seemed beneath Demi Moore. She didn't have much to do. Other than continue to look more and more like Courtney Cox.

Any flaws are worth it for a great Billy Bob Thornton performance. If the role wasn't written specifically with him in mind, he certainly made it his own. And absolutely owned it.
