Nope. He was a regular guy - a little creepy, maybe more in retrospect than before it all happened. The main thing he was known for was getting into a fight with sort of a geeky kid at recess in 8th grade. He and the girl he killed weren't really friends, as I recall. She was found in the woods behind an arcade so the thinking was that they ran into each other there. The killer's sister was a year behind us in school and stayed in school even after he was in prison. It must have been very strange for her.
