I mentioned Pottsville, Pa., in another thread, and one of the things I liked best about my last visit there was a pizzeria/Italian restaurant that was just amazing.

Wood-fired pizza to die for.

So here's the ask, foodies: Think back to some of the best unique eating you've enjoyed in recent years and post the website with the menu. Perhaps this can be a collective for folks who pass through our various towns and cities.

New Haven

I'm not saying the first hamburger is the best hamburger.

Nope. Wait. That's exactly what I'm saying.

I've had hamburgers all over the world and these are still my favorite.

Nothing quite like them anywhere.

There's a place in Harrisburg that has the city's best burgers (they literally fall apart), best hoagies AND best cheesesteaks. It's called Jackson House, and it's a little hole in the wall. They open the grill at 10:30 a.m. on weekdays, take their final orders at 1:45 p.m. And there's a definite Soup Nazi vibe; you'd better know what you want when you get to the front of the line. But everything is absolutely worth it.

They only have a Facebook page, but here's their menu.

Menu of Jackson House in Harrisburg, PA 17102
