Here in the Upper Midwest, the extended Albanian Islami family owns a long, long string of greasy-spoon "family" restaurants. They're masters of the $5.99 breakfast skillet. The menus are always pretty similar: everything from meat loaf to pasta to enchiladas. And killer gyros, of course.
