From A-Jay's Cheesesteaks in Morgan Hill, CA.
I'm not able to compare this to a genuine Philly place, but it's good. And I'm totally not putting this here to subtly troll my So Cal brethren*

*The bottom cheesesteak is usually my order when I'm down that way… but again totally not taking a dig … *ahem*
They don't have a menu posted where I can capture it, and certainly they don't have one with English translations, but for old fashioned French bistro cooking, and by old fashioned I mean their menu would not have been out of place before World War I, Chez Rene on Boulevard St. Germain in Paris on the Left Bank, is the very best. Pot au feu, Boeuf bourguignon, chocolate mousse (a must have) and like that. Totally recommended.
Easily missed on 462, and the exterior belies what's inside. Very '50s-looking place, with the old green canopy at the entrance.I lived down the street many moons ago, although I don't remember them in that spot. Maple Donuts ain't a bad joint for what it is.
Who lives in the house, the cafe owners or someone else? One of the all-time breakfast

Strange set-up there, really tight. Also, how many does that little cafe seat?
