Doing a job they don't think you're qualified enough to actually hire you to do. that seems messed up.

why? the job has to get done. sometimes you have to settle for the job getting done at a lower level than you'd like, though. it's a simple part of business.

i'm not saying that's what's happening with this situation, but just because somebody fills in doesn't make them qualifed to do the job.
