Are you interested in covering the biggest story in the NFL?

The Las Vegas Review-Journal seeks a team-oriented journalist to join the team of reporters who will cover the Raiders on and off the field as they move from Oakland to Southern Nevada.

The ideal candidate is a digitally skilled journalist who has at least three years of experience covering the NFL or Power Five college football. This journalist will be able to juggle enterprise, daily stories, social media, podcasts and videos with equal ease.

Our Raiders backup reporter will work in tandem with our NFL editor, our lead Raiders writer, our pro sports backup writer, our columnists and our Raiders videographer. We expect this person to be collaborative in working with them to create stories in all forms, bring original ideas to all platforms and produce content that drives page views and digital subscriptions.

We want this reporter to explain the news as well as break the news. Candidates should be familiar with all major social media channels and how to use them to promote content and appeal to all levels of readers.

Please email a cover letter, your resume and three applicable clips to bbradley@reviewjournal.com

Really curious to see where said reporter will be based this year (and perhaps next ig dome reports are believed).

We have had Michael Gehlken based in Oakland the past two years. We haven't decided where this hire will be based this season. And we don't anticipate the dome not being done in 13 months. Everything we see it is on schedule.
