RIP Apollo Creed

If people cry about thread drift, I'll just make it worse.

I'll smush peas in your perfectly organized plate, just because Type A's are insufferable.

STAY ON TASK AT THE MEANINGLESS WEBSITE. RESPECT APOLLO CREED ON THE MEANINGLESS WEBSITE.

This is not his memorial service. You don't know him, however many times you saw Rocky. God isn't keeping a tally of you respecting Carl Weathers' RIP thread on sportsjournalists
com. He was discussed. It petered out. Do you understand how you get a stew going?

Making fun of a city for something that isn't true is hardly brilliant comedy.

It's like making fun of Miami for how it handles snowstorms.

Or that Cleveland's river was on fire. I know. But comedians do it because they know those city's protest too much and they get you. I had to tell a person from Cleveland that the fact that the river was cleaned up and it was a major key in getting America's waterways cleaned is not a great comeback when someone is trolling you.

It was heart disease for Carl Weathers. Story I saw said it had been an ongoing issue. But with his work on "The Mandelorian" and in a Super Bowl commercial, it didn't seem his death was expected when it happened.

If you gotta go, slipping away peacefully in your sleep seems like the way for it to happen.

I don't want to fight a Texas death-match over this, and I salute your rant, but I merely wrote Carl Weathers deserves better than this Stallone thread-jack. It's hardly a cry for universal order. More of just an observation.

I guess he's so very good now.

Trivia: What do Dolph Lundgren and Jerry Buss have in common?

So not only are we disrespecting Mr. Weathers on this thread with the threadjacks, we're posting happy photos of the guy who killed him.

Do better, SJ.com.

Letting Sly beat him on the beach run in the end is some of the best acting Weathers did. The cavorting in ocean is STILL awkward to watch though.

Written by a sensitive deck who puts people on ignore for not thinking like he does.
