Sonic who became a Seattle institution up there with Starbucks and Pike Street Market.
 
I wonder how many of those classic Sonics team members stayed in Seattle after retirement. It's always seemed to be a city where they wouldn't be bothered too much in public.

That was my view from Vancouver/Portland.
 
Seattle is long way from Rolling Fork, Mississippi in more ways than one.
What a life lived.
Rest in peace, Slick.
