Sideline reporter gave fake news

I seemed to recall the first time I saw Erin on ESPN, it was covering a Lightning game.
Yeah, if IIRC, she broke in covering the Atlanta Thrashers for Turner SportsSouth, or whatever it was called.

EDIT: looked it up. She actually did start locally with Tampa Bay.

The only thing worse than a journo using a spokesperson is a news organization giving a "no comment" on anything.

Years ago, an old stop often reported on major employers cutting jobs regularly.

This while the newspaper was cutting jobs regularly.

The publisher wrote in a piece that the newspaper was under no obligation to report on its job losses because it was a private business. Actually no; it was part of a chain that was traded, admittedly a penny stock by then. What hypocrisy.

Posting this less for Suzy Shuster's reaction to Charissa Thompson and more for the Bobby Bowden and Chuck Amato anecdotes.
