Skip Bayless

Imagine two seconds after realizing you spent $1.5 million and don't even have a TV show to troll LeBron James anymore.

It's always the guys who swear they don't drink or eat bad food and exercise 10 hours a day who are the secret weirdos. I was on that chicken breast and broccoli plan for three years and realized you had to cheat on the diet or you'll go crazy. My theory on Tiger Woods, too.

Tom Brady caught a stray on that one.

It sounds to me as if Fox's front offices had plenty of time to address this and failed to do so. Nobody there could put the fear of God into Bayless about this like, years ago?

I do not understand the appeal of either; only the appearance of Trump on the screen makes me change the channel more rapidly. But they know the fragility of the biz and they appear to be pretty decent human beings in general. Their on-camera schtick is just nonsensical and tiresome, that's all.

Colin Cowherd and Nick Wright emerge from this unscathed.

Unlike the others accused, those two know how quickly it can "all go away" in broadcasting. Say what you want but they're both grinders from their own early days in radio.

I would actually enjoy a show where Nick Wright dropped the schtick. When he goes on LeBatard he lets you behind the curtain and he seems bright and interesting. I would be one of seven viewers, however.
