Not too many places, at least around here, will fix a burger with an egg on top. Red Robin does, so I went there to try it. Pretty fantastic.

Another I have heard of is peanut butter on a burger.

I have a friend who puts fried eggs on hamburgers. He explained to me that the when the yolk breaks all over the burger, it's the best-tasting thing ever...

I've never been brave enough to try it.

Oh, man. One of the lucky parts of my Roanoke upbringing and UVa education was spending the early portion of my life in areas where I could get such a divine creation any time I wanted.

The Royal Robin burger, or something of that ilk.

Had a fried egg on my burger at the Cherry Cricket in Denver earlier this week...heavenly.

There was a 50's type diner in Lexington that did the fried egg burger on Friday the 13th. It was called the Fright Egg. So freaking good.

Then again, that's when I was in HS. So I might have the details (date, name) wrong. But I stand by the fact it was tasty as all heck.
