Sports reporter needed: A sports journalist to join a five-person staff covering a two-county Southern California area with nearly 20 high schools, a community college, a minor league baseball team and a new university sports program. There is targeted and wire coverage of national sports teams and auto racing, but the emphasis is local. Outdoor sports including fishing, hunting and offroading are also part of the coverage. Ideal candidate has a minimum two years' experience covering community sports plus skill in page design. Compensation based on experience and demonstrated achievement.
