Not The Office, but George Brett. The Hall Of Famer absolutely made my day when I saw this, right to the final words.

Guys wearing No. 73 in spring training, who know they will never make the big leagues, scurrying to get away from one of the all-time greats ...

"I'm good to shirt my pants a couple times a year."

I may have told this story before.
I was in Kansas City on the day of the 30th anniversary of the Pine Tar game. Brett was on WHB during their afternoon drive show. They're going back and forth, and one of the hosts comes on and says that they have a special guest on the phone.
It was Tim McClelland. It was great radio.
They asked George what was going through his mind…."I wanted to kill him. But then halfway out there, I realized that Timmy is 6'5, 250 and the son of a bench is standing there holding a bat. What the heck am I going to do?"
