Table for five: Pick your favorite four Forumites

Well, let's see ... I know of three for sure:
Moddy 1 and I share a love for particular island and have chewed some of the same sand.
Inky has hooked me up, no pun intended, when it comes to fishing.
Maumann and I seem to share an affinity for hurricane tracking.

I'd go with a Michigander table of mauman, Jake from State Farm, Starman and spikechiquet. Honorable mention to old-timers Hank Scorpio and slappy.

Been a long time since I lived and worked in Michigan, but it's a very interesting place in many ways, and I did some of my best work there.

Long live da U.P.!

I don't know if we're going to pull off the Michigan summer vacation RV trip next year or have to wait until my criminal history gets erased, but Gwen and I want to spend a couple of months at parks all around the mitten. She loves lighthouses and lake freighters. I definitely need to plan it so I get face time with you folks who share my obsessive-compulsive love for decades of bad baseball and football (and an Original Six hockey power).

If the place has Vernors on tap, it's pure Michigan.

Heh. Vernors used to advertise, "Aged in oak barrels.'' My dad saw my brother drinking one many years ago and asked, "Is that the drink aged in oak caskets?"
