I'm not for lunatics shooting up schools.
I'm not for wackos robbing people with guns.
I'm not for losers shooting up malls.
I'm not for wannabe thugs driveby shooting unless they do us a favor and shoot at each other

I'm also not for gun laws, gun registration, background checks and all the other inane regulations the liberty-haters among us want to force feed down our throats.

oh ok so you are against all those nasty things, but you are against laws designed as disincentives for forkers to do them??

okey dokey

Especially since none of the gun laws thrown around every time the gun debate comes around would do anything to stop any of those scenarios.

They would just make it harder for law abiding citizens to own guns and protect themselves.

Do you think drunk driving should be legal?

I have VERY strong objections to the definitions of "drunk driving"

.08 or .1 should not be the level of what constitutes drunk driving.

.08 is basically an excuse for municipalities to line their pockets with idiotic tickets and an excuse to set up asinine and frankly unconstitutional "DUI Checkpoints"

You want to tell me the BAC level at .13 or .14 is where you become legally drunk, I would have a much easier time buying drunk driving laws

Regardless of any research that proves that people are impaired at .08 or .10?

If you have two beers and you aren't a total fat ass you are at .08, so yes, that level is way too low regardless of what those studies suggest.

Meh, who needs that science stuff. We have Zag's opinion!

I just love that he's against all people shooting each other except "wannabe thugs." Perfectly acceptable for them to shoot each other.

You do realize that weight isn't the only factor that determines the impact of alcohol on the human body, right? Also, you are aware that there are large people who aren't fat?

I know. That darn science stuff again.

That is such bullshirt, it can take some people up to 8 drinks to get .08.

I actually agree with you when it comes to texting, I don't think Zags saying its not dangerous but do we really want to live in a world where there is an app for this shirt? There are laws for distracted driving, enforce them.

I think it's worse that there are forking morons on here that actually believe it is safe to text and drive.

Eight girl drinks?

8 beers in 4 hours for a 200 pound man will barely get you to .08.

http://dui.drivinglaws.org/calc.php

Obviously there are a lot of variables but imagine what it takes a bigger man who is used to drinking.

There is no such thing as being "used to drinking." You cannot train your liver to break down alcohol faster. The fact that you "feel" fine does not mean that you are.

It's remarkable how every detail of that amazing story dovetailed precisely with your libertarian beliefs and preconceived stereotypes. It's almost like it was scripted, down to the perfect quotes and geographic origins of the people in the tale.

You are like the libertarian Mitch Albom.

What stereotype are you forking talking about?

A bunch of assholes from New York who were working at Bank of New York Mellon here in Pittsburgh for the week came rolling in to the bar in their forking suits and ties and dresses cause it was right after work and wanted to tell us all how unsophisticated we are for being in a bar with smoke.

And our response was to smoke a helluva lot more to get rid of them.

Take you stupid shirt somewhere else

When did libertarians get so pissed? Can we get some pot-smoking libertarians up in here?

Everyone who is for laws banning texting and driving but has a radio (you take your eye off the road to change the volume, the station or the CD) or heater (you take your eye off the road to adjust the temperature or fan speed) in their car is a forking hypocrite.

This is bullshirt on so many levels.

Now if you said that anybody who adjusts the temperature or radio station in their car while driving is a hypocrite, that might come close to making sense, but you didn't. You just wanted to attack people for daring to suggest a new law against anything.

Now please show us the data proving that changing radio stations or adjusting the temperature in a car is as dangerous as texting while driving. We'll wait. I'm sure you must have it handy or you wouldn't have made such a definitive statement.
