Trentonian giving way to donut makers (insert cop jokes here)

The hedge fund is selling the Trentonian building to a Dunkin Donuts manufacturing plant.

No one knows where where the next Trentonian building will be in the city.

This is one of the lasting memories I have of the Trentonian newsroom, when a cluster of reporters, editors, and sales people huddled around the corner TV to watch Obama's inauguration.

Two years later, sadly, it looked like this more often than not ...

Though it did get lively at times with the live Web shows I produced ...

And for some reason, Knarr would start banging away on the Underhill in the library, all the time ...

Even got Billy Ripken in there one day for a live interview ...

Got a thousand more photos of the joint.

Did Billy have "fork face" written on the back of his hand?

Manufacturing plant? Krispy Kreme makes its donuts at the store.

That does seem odd. Dunkin stores owned by the same franchisee will have doughnuts made at a central store, but I have never heard of a manufacturing plant.

Where does this land on the scale for odd thread resurrection?

I see it moved out of Trenton. Where is the Onian printed these days?

Last time I was in Trenton was in 2015 when I took NJ Transit down there and caught an Amtrak the rest of the way home because it was a good $100 cheaper. As I stood at the power bank marked as a phone charging station giving my ancient iPhone 4 a boost, a guy standing next to me turned and said "I'll forkin' kick your ass" for no reason whatsoever. It was at that moment that I decided that my phone was just fine at eight percent and that waiting on the platform for the Keystone Service might be the better plan.

Things Not Said in Florida for $1,000, Alex. You don't know who's packing heat.

when I was in law school, I dated someone in Philly and often traveled at odd hours. Let's just say that the crowd waiting for the R7 was certainly full of characters.
