Was talking to someone yesterday who recently got $600 to write a feature for them. Even the kid from Almost Famous would have turned that down.

Still, for the sake of everyone involved, I hope they can keep the magazine alive.

Writing about music is easy. Just pick a couple dozen obscure artists that three people outside of their immediate families have ever heard of, and call it "The 25 Most Important Bands of 2018," and you've got yourself a winner.

Nah. That was true maybe 10/15 years ago. Now the most important artists - according to these sites of which you speak - are all pretty big superstars. Mostly in rap/hip-hop.
