His wife had 10 days to say no. I've been married for 18 years and she and I certainly don't agree on everything...
I'm as cynical as anybody, but isn't it possible that in the end he really didn't want to yank his family from New England, where they are comfortable and stable, to Indianapolis? I know that goes against what we are used to from coaches, but reportedly it factored heavily.
