Feels like there's a more level playing field in the NHL than in other leagues. No feeling of, "We'll never be a winning franchise," like so many teams in other leagues feel resigned to.

Ford Field will remain the name of the Lions' stadium after a new agreement between the team and Ford Motor Company.

Was in Brooklyn Wed.-to this morning visiting my son, daughter in law, and grandson. Alice and I went to downtown Target to pick up a present for the kid. They had almost no toddler-appropriate toys, so we got him a Mr. Met kind of doll-pillow thing (hi, BYH!). Under that was a row of like Jets plastic dolls about bobblehead size but skinnier. They were all Aaron Rodgers dolls.
