Not sure I totally got the bar scene but I did enjoy the brief education on Renee Rostaing.Wow. Tough room. After being underwhelmed by the first six this spring, the last two have been incredible.
We see the tragedy of Gus Fring's life in a 10-minute snapshot at a restaurant bar. The understated clean cut of the end of Jimmy and Kim. The deep discomfort of the memorial service. Everything was given time to unspool with as few words of dialogue as possible. The goodness and simple wisdom of Nacho's father. Great stuff.
