Here's one thing they've done to improve it: you can upload your own music to the game and have the players walk to the batter's box pumping whatever tune you want through the PA system.
It's a pretty cool feature.

I heartily agree. I have two Sharp Aquos LCDs and love them both. Absolutely recommend it. I had a friend over the other day and we were playing NBA Live on my 54'. He said, 'Why does this game look so much better on yours than it does on mine and make me want to go out and get another TV?"...
