I love the 2k NBA series, it is light years ahead of NBA Live and I was so disappointed when they didn't make college hoops 2k9, but I am wondering how good their baseball game will be.

The demo is available on Xbox Live. It's not horrible, but tough to tell since it's obviously a neutered version.
I still have too much to do on 2K8, so I won't be dropping the money on 2K9. I may pick up NBA 2K9 though.
Gomer said:Don't buy brand names cables if you can. Virtually no difference in quality between Monster and Jim's Cable Emporium. All that matters is you get the best connection possible.
You're probably using red, white and yellow cables right now. If your TV has component connection inputs (red, green, blue), go get those cables instead. As mentioned, you will notice a difference.
The cable you linked to also has digital audio, which unless your TV is hooked into a receiver is overkill. Most TV's do not have a digital audio input.
I'd recommend something like this one instead.

I've read some good reviews about it and was wondering if anyone picked it up yet? If so, whatduya think?
Some great commercials too.
I am so disappointed that the only baseball game I can get for Xbox is MLB2K9. The Show looks like a great game, but I just bought the Xbox a few days ago and was not aware The Show was strictly PS.
Yeah, it's been that way since the series began. Dumb move on their part, I think.
Last year's version of The Show was so good, I can't imagine what could possibly be done to improve it.

Here's one thing they've done to improve it: you can upload your own music to the game and have the players walk to the batter's box pumping whatever tune you want through the PA system.
It's a pretty cool feature.

Players who own a PlayStation 3-compatible microphone can record their very own chants, yells, cheers and jeers. Depending on how you record your tracks, you may hear one fan yell "A-Rod and Barry sitting in a tree, R-O-I-D-I-N-G!" For his next at bat, the entire crowd might mockingly chant "A-Fraud! A-Fraud! A-Fraud!" Don't worry; you won't have to round up every friend you know for the recording session. The game automatically turns your single voice into a varied group of hundreds. More impressive yet, if you have a ton of time on your hands, you can assign up to 12 tracks for each player and record up to 256 tracks for the entire game.

Great acting RPG game.

The last version I bought - and it's been several years - had the greatest soundtrack ever: Sweetness from Jimmy Eat World, No One Knows from Queens of the Stone Age and Pitiful from Blindside. I downloaded the first two, just so I'd have the (mostly) complete collection.
And if I'm going to get a new game, it has to be before the furlough shows up in my paycheck.
