One the one hand, sad that the O's didn't catch NY. On the other, there's now a two-game lead over Oakland for that No. 1 wild card spot. So it was kind of a win-win.

They're interviewing Thome postgame yesterday and my daughter walks by and asks, "Is that the manager?"

Uh, no. Never mind that he's about MY age, he's still playing.
