If Francisco Cordero's the answer, you've gotta ask what the question was.

With Lance Berkman, Miguel Tejada and Carlos Lee gone, who can the Astros find to fill their obligatory "2004 All-Star Team" roster spot?

Not Miguel Batista, because he's signed with the Braves:

Marlins asking price for Josh Johnson might be, how you say, unrealistic:

The Rangers, Blue Jays, Orioles, Angels, Braves and Red Sox are among numerous teams interested in dealing for Johnson. Indications are that Miami's talks with clubs have focused on such elite prospects as Jurickson Profar, Mike Olt and Martin Perez in Texas, Dylan Bundy and Manny Machado in Baltimore and Travis D'Arnaud and Anthony Gose of Toronto.

Several baseball officials have said the Marlins are looking for a haul similar to what Texas acquired from Atlanta in July 2007, when the Rangers landed Elvis Andrus, Matt Harrison, Neftali Feliz and Jarrod Saltalamacchia as part of a seven-player trade that brought Mark Teixeira to Arlington.

You can assume all you want, Kyle Lohse won't finish with an ERA under 3.

But as a fellow fantasy owner, enjoy this while it lasts.

How is this one working out for you?

Proof that if you keep the ball in the park and don't walk people, you've got a pretty chance to succeed.

Ya. Sandy Koufax would have been average in the American League, right?

If you're going to make outlandish statements, back them up with facts.

There is nothing outlandish about it, the only outlandish thing I see is a ridiculous Koufax analogy.

The AL is a far superior offensive league, do you really not see that?

The National League is 2012 is far different from the National League in 1965, in too many ways to count.

One of Baseball Prospectus, The Hardball Times or FanGraphs did a study on players who switch leagues. There was a general uptick, particularly among stars, after a trade to the NL, and the opposite was true for players who switched to the AL.

There's also the interleague play record of the past decade, which is the only time frame for which jokes (yes, it was a forking joke) about the NL's inadequacy make any sense.

and then there is this little thing called the DH in the AL.

Also, Trout and Jetes play in the AL. NL can't compete with that
