2021 Pro Wrestling Thread

Dynamite opening with the title match? Does this mean we'll main event with one of the rumored debuts?

They're 30 minutes into a 60-minute time limit match. I'm guessing it goes the distance, and they put it first to make sure they got it all in.

Wardlow's definitely got a wwe vibe about him

i could see ftr going back.
As bitter as the split was (wanting their release, the Icy/Hot bit, nearly getting saddled with Flavor Flav knockoff gimmicks), I don't see FTR ever going back, unless they all of a sudden have a tag team renaissance in WWE.

They're getting the chance to tag in AEW, AAA and the indies and are probably in high heaven right now (aside from the one of them having his arm sliced open on the turnbuckle).

Was that the first major one-hour match (in American wrestling at least) since Raw did the two-hour gauntlet match a couple of years ago?

Nice for Pat McAfee to technically mention AEW's owner on Smackdown in a Shad Khan/Urban Meyer reference.

The great thing is that McAfee doesn't have to give a shirt if the E complains either. He has a $30 million a year contract. He's bulletproof.
