2021 Rock & Roll HOF induction nominee screechfest

I'll take a stab.

It's an SJ tradition!

This year's nominees:
Mary J. Blige—nope
Kate Bush—nope
Devo—maybe-ish
Foo Fighters—yes
The Go-Go's—maybe
Iron Maiden—never really listened, but I did sell a bunch of Eddie pinbacks several years ago on ebay
Jay-Z—nope
Chaka Khan—nope
Carole King—nope
Fela Kuti—never heard of her/him/it
LL Cool J—momma said knock you out; eh, why not?
New York Dolls—naaahhh ... maybe?
Rage Against The Machine—my cup of tea in short doses, but probably won't make it
Todd Rundgren—Liv Tyler approves
Tina Turner—maybe? Never considered her anywhere near rock, but YMMV
Dionne Warwick—nope

Commence screaming!

So that's one clear yes vote from me.

Jay-Z and Carole King aren't really rock, but they certainly are influential music artists. Can't argue too much against them.

About damn time Todd got in, between his own music and his work as a producer.

Solid class. Pleasantly surprised by Todd Rundgren making it -- didn't really expect that.

Still don't get why Tina Turner is going in solo when she's already in with Ike. That one album was hall of fame worthy?
