2023 running NBA playoffs thread

Hopefully they wrap this up on Monday night here. But I did tell my boss, who has partial season tickets and will be at Game 5, last week after the Game 2 loss that they'll win twice in Miami but do what the Avalanche did last year and lose a clinching game at home in Game 5, only to win the title in Game 6 -- in Florida. We'll see. They had another sellout crowd at Ball Arena last night for the watch party. Plus, I'm part of the comms team with the city as it relates to the celebration rally/parade so that will be cool to be a part of.

Get in the door price is $1,100 for those who say Denver doesn't do sports. It was cheaper to fly to Miami and go to a game there, which some people did according to interviews on Altitude.

I would love to pull the trigger but that is a lot for nose bleeds and a who knows if they actually clinch it.

Video on the Connor McGregor punch out. The bit was to advertise a new pain spray that McGregor is shilling for. He punches Burnie, the Heat mascot, who goes down. Connor then goes for the MMA style clincher punch followed by a liberal dose of pain spray as the body is dragged away.

Kinda funny for everyone except the poor joe in the suit. He went to the ER and got pain meds. He's ok.

McGregor is such a deck.

$30 gets you into McGregor Square for a huge watch party.

A deplorable 1990s (redundant) first half if there ever was one.

Nuggets turning the ball over left and right.

1-of-15 from 3.

Yet only down 7.

Denver may be launched into orbit here soon.

But what the heck was the ref looking at to call that foul?
